Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
A session judge in Jharkhand's Bokaro on Tuesday sentenced two men to 25 years of rigorous imprisonment for gang-rape.
As the girl was leaving the brickyard, the inmates physically molested her. They also made a video of her and circulated it. A case has been registered at the Chandan Kiyari police station in Bokaru.
Public prosecutor RK Roy said the court found the two accused - Dulal Kalindi and Dhanur Kewar - guilty and sentenced them to rigorous imprisonment for 25 years. The men were also sentenced to an additional five years under the IT Act. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000.
